Dedicated to Magicrainbow123 'cause she kept nagging me about it :P
"Okay, so first off, here's the mess hall. It's where we eat, have food fights, and act kinda crazy" I pointed through an archway. I had been assigned to give Persia a tour of Mystika Academy.
Have I ever told you how much I love giving tours? It makes me feel all professional and stuff.
"Anyway, the food fights don't happen as much as you think. Although, if one does break out, I suggest army crawling under the tables. Most of the teachers are cool with it if you have food stains on your clothes, but the Air teacher will go nuts if she sees even a speck of dirt on you. Pretty much all of the people in the Air house are neat freaks, so I advise you stay at least a foot from them unless you want to get slapped with a bunch of feather dusters." Pausing to take a breath, I found Persia looking at me strangely.
Turning the corner, I started up again. "So, this hallway," I gestured in front of me. "Is where we have all our classes. There's one teacher for each element, Basic and Secondary, so there are a lot of teachers." I heard a creaking noise behind me and whipped around. "Oh, shoot there's the stairs!!!"
I ran as fast as I could towards the slowly fading staircase, with Persia panting behind me.
"What in the world are we running for?!?!" Persia asked
I pointed at the staircase."That's our only way to the second floor!"
Note to all readers: Disappearing staircases are very very dangerous and absolutely should not be messed with. There is always the chance you might slip and fall into thin air. Which happened to me.
"AHHHHHHHH NO I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE- Wait, what?" Somehow, I was... floating!!!!
I gawked at Persia. "Did you do this?"
She winced and shrugged. "I don't know. Look, can you just hurry up? You're kinda heavy."
I giggled, embarrassed. "Oh right, I, uh, forgot I had wings." I unfolded them and hurriedly flew the rest of the way. Persia followed soon after, collapsing on the floor and breathing hard.
I ran over to her. "Are you okay?!?! Do you need me to take you to the Water house?!?! That's the house all the healers are in, you know..."
Persia held up a hand to stop me. "I'll be fine. What's on the second floor, anyway?"
A relieved grin spread across my face. "Well, for starters, most of the dorms are on the second floor. The only exception right now is the Fire house, which I'm in. The Fire house has their own separate rooms that they're able to move around."
Persia's brow furrowed. "What do you mean by 'right now'?"
My eyes lit up at this question. "Okay, so technically, there's an unlimited amount of elements. Since there's one house for each element, there's an unlimited amount of houses." Persia opened her mouth to comment, but I held up a finger to stop her. "Right now, I think there are only five active houses. Their official names are Dreamers of the Day, Walkers of the Water, Movers of the Mind, Communicators of the Crystal, and Fighters of the Forest. Their elements are Fire, Water, Air, Ice, and Earth, respectively. Instead of having a headmistress, we have a representative from each active house"
I helped Persia up. "All the dorms are really awesome. The Ice dorms are completely made out of ice and crystal, the Water dorms are partially flooded so you can swim whenever you feel like it, and the Earth dorms have a forest growing in them!" I leaned over to whisper in her ear. "Also, the boy side of the Earth dorms are rumored to be haunted."
Persia gave me a puzzled look. "What about the boy students?"
I burst out laughing. "I'm sorry, I must've forgotten to tell you. Mystika is a girls-only academy. A long time ago, guys went here too, but some big fight happened." A glowing light caught my eye. "Oh, this is perfect timing!!!" I pulled Persia over to look. "The doorways with these shiny symbol thingys," I rubbed the mark. "Are a kind of mini portal. If you have a key and you know how to activate them, you can go to the specialty rooms. There's a trampoline room, there's a chocolate room, and tons of other rooms!!! Apparently there's a room with all the life stories of all the students that have gone here! I'm still trying to find it."
I pulled a key out of my pocket and showed it to her. "You get the key when you get sorted into a house. Now, allow me to demonstrate the activation." With a flourish, I picked up the key and held it in front of me. "One thing you should remember is that the symbols switch doorways every couple of days." I closed my eyes and concentrated on letting my power flow through me and to the key.
Somehow, I uh, managed to use a little too much magic and I ended up creating an actual portal.
I spread my arms out. "Stay back!!! This might be- Oof!" Something careened into Persia, making her stumble forward and crash into me. The world seemed to slow down as we fell into the portal.
"Oh my gosh, I cannot wait till we get there. I haven't had a piece of chocolate in ages and it's been driving me-"
"Elara," I growled out. "You are in so much trouble when we get back."

Verse 2: A grand/epic ballroom
I blinked at the strange sight of a flash mob, in tuxes and glittering dresses. Even stranger was the fact they were dancing the Caramelldansen. Do you know how hard that is?!?! It took me hours to get it right and I still looked like an idiot while doing it.
I shook my head after realizing I had been staring much too long at the flash mob, and started pushing my way through the crowd.
I'm pretty sure I stepped on way too many skirts and shoes, and I was apologizing non-stop. This all stopped when I saw her face.
"Laixa!!!" I immediately ran and bear hugged her. "I haven't seen you in ages!!! Is this your new life? You still have your awesome fashionista skills, right? Did you make tons of new friends?" Her puzzled expression told me everything I needed to know. "Oh, this is probably that incident you told me about, I'm guessing. Well then," I stuck my hand out. "My name is Alexandra Sarielle Rue, but you can just call me Lexi. The next time you see me, you have to teach me all about my fire magic, and those awesome fashionista skills I mentioned earlier. Promise?
"...Okay" Laixa said hesitantly, the look on her face screaming 'get me away from this crazy person'.
I beamed at her. "Great! Now if you'll excuse me, I only really came here for this." I casually slid a moonstone armband off of someone's arm. "So, ta ta for now, and remember, you promised!" I winked at her and hightailed it out of there.
Panting hard, I stopped in a dark alcove. I grasped the piece of jewelry with both hands, and created a portal.
After being subjected to torture by rainbow sparkles...
I plopped down hard, back in the Phiriexiell palace. I looked at my surroundings quizzically; I thought I still had two more jewels left to go...
Elli sighed in relief, helping me up. "Lexi, you really should have waited till I set up the shields! I'm pretty sure you set off alarms all over the place!!!"
I rolled my eyes. "I'm sure it's not that bad. Why am I back here, anyway?"
She held up a tanzanite hairpin and my fire opal bracelet. "I decided to help you out and find some of the jewels too."
"Did you see the storm jewel anywhere?"
"Maybe it was never taken in the first place." Elli said, shrugging.
"That makes sense. Wait, why were one of the jewels in The Lady or the Tiger? I thought that was a Realm?"
"Oh how do I put this... If a story isn't finished or has a vague ending, it can be a Realm and a Verse at the same time."
I looked at her, eyes wide. "You know, right now I'm really glad the last Septimus Heap book isn't out yet."
"Even when it is out, I think you can still go to that Realm. It just might be kind of... hard for you."
"It's not like I'm going to try to change the story! I just want to try a stupid FizzFroot!!! Is that so bad?!?!"
"Yes. Yes it is." Elli deadpanned. Her stomach rumbled. "See, it's making me hungry. Do you mind telling me where the kitchens are?"
"Well, I do, but a certain someone wouldn't." I cupped my hands around my mouth. "Hey Henry, come over here!!!"
"What?" He said grumpily.
"Can you show Elli to the kitchens? I have something to take care of up here."
I smirked as a steady blush spread over both of their faces. This was going to be perfect.
"W-well, um-" Henry stuttered out.
I cut him off. "Really? Great! Now, shoo, shoo!!!" I shoved them out the door and slammed it. My back slid down until I was seated comfortably on the floor. If everything went well those two would confess to each other before I had to leave.
To pass the time I examined my jewel, watching the light reflect off it, revealing many different colors. As pretty as it was, I frowned. It seemed... different somehow. I moved it closer to my face. And suddenly I saw it.
Etched into it ever so faintly, was a feather.
It turns out that when we brought the jewels back to Hexanalyn, everyone in a coma woke up! I feel so proud of myself, my first big mission done! I'm not leaving yet, though. I mean, we still have to celebrate Elli's birthday! Since you know, the party got crashed and all. Well, the next time you hear from me, I'll be dressed in my best having tons of fun!!! See you then!

Verse 1: A story yet to bloom...
You know, portals can be very unreliable at times. Sometimes they lead you into a completely different place, or land you somewhere awkward...
I really shouldn't be surprised I landed on someone.
"Oh my gosh, I am so, so sorry. Did I hurt you at all?" I scrambled up and proceeded to check him for injuries.
A weak grunt came from the man I landed on. "I'm... fine... Just knocked... the breath out... of me."
"WHO DARES TO INTERRUPT THE TRIAL?!?!?"
I glanced up to see a semi-barbaric king with an angry expression, glaring at me. "Um, I apologize, your majesty. Uh, what exactly is going on here?"
A random voice spoke up. "It's the courier's trial to see if he was guilty for loving the princess."
Looking around, I eventually came to the conclusion that I was in an arena. This seemed suspiciously like that one story I read...
I furrowed my brow. "But, love can't really be classified as good or evil, right? On one hand, he's guilty because he didn't suppress his feelings, and let them grow. On the other hand, the feelings appeared inside of him, without him really wanting them. In the end, love is just there. It can cause us to do awesome things, or horrible things, but it remains neutral." It seemed I had everyone's attention by now, and murmurs of disbelief echoed throughout the whole arena. "Also, if he truly loved the princess, he would be punished either way, by getting eaten, or by marrying someone he doesn't love. So isn't this whole trial unfair?"
The king turned his glare towards the courier. "JUST OPEN A STUPID DOOR ALREADY!!!"
He slowly stood up and reached for the right door latch. But before he could lift it, both doors crashed down simultaneously, revealing a tiger and a... ninja? The ninja dashed towards the king and pinned him down, while the tiger transformed into another ninja and casually strolled up with a pair of handcuffs.
"Your majesty, you have been found guilty by the ISAR (Inter-Verse Society of Animal Rights) of animal cruelty, and as such, we reserve the right to dole out the necessary punishments." The first ninja stated, as he was being arrested.
His eyes widened in recognition. "Wait, aren't you the lady behind one of the doors?"
She pretended to think for a moment. "Well yeah, but I didn't really want to get hitched, you know?"
The former tiger looked at her without sympathy. "That sounds way better than being deprived of food for half a year."
"True."
This time it was my eyes that widened in recognition. I could have sworn I had heard that voice before...
"Who's going to rule now?" Yet another random voice in the arena asked.
I rolled my eyes. "Isn't it obvious? The princess and the courier will." I sent a meaningful look to both of them. "I mean, you might as well get married, since the king can't stop you."
The princess practically leaped into the courier's arms, as the priest, choristers, and dancing maidens came out. In the midst of all the commotion, I spotted the two ninjas slinking away with the king. I ran after them, and finally managed to catch up outside.
"So Cali," I crossed my arms and faced the tiger-turned-ninja. "What in the name of chocolate are you doing here?"
"First of all, at least say my name correctly. It's Kaliazhe. KAH-LEE-AH-ZEH. Second, I actually have a life outside the palace kitchens, not that it's any of your business."
"Speaking of that," I turned to the other ninja. "Do you mind giving me that choker around your neck?"
She blinked."What, this old thing?"
I nodded vigorously."Yes, yes, absolutely."
"Sure, take it." The lady unclasped the choker and tossed it to me. I watched it fly through the air, the dangling jade glinting in the sun, before landing in my open palm.
I gripped it tightly, moving around the back of the arena. After doing a quick scan of the area to make sure no one was there, I released my magic, letting it poke and prod at the jewel. When a soft green glow surrounded the jade, I sighed in relief, then quickly shoved more magic at it, creating a portal.
As the rainbow sparks swirled around me, I dove in, without hesitation.
If anyone knows the story Lexi went to I'll give you virtual cookies!
Also, I think the door the princess chose had the lady behind it because I think she would rather see her love live and possibly be happy, than die.
...If you didn't get that, you probably haven't read the story I was talking about.

Portal chains, portraits, and wait, is that verses I see?
Obviously, going into the portal first, meant that I was the first one to arrive at our destination.
"Hey Henry, Elli's on her way, and she has something to tell yo- Oww!"
Elli stood in front of me, arms crossed. "Lexi, I told I would tell him after we find the jewels! You have absolutely no right to-" Suddenly, a blush spread across her face. "Oh, s-sorry Henry. I, um, didn't notice you there."
"Right Elli, you didn't notice the guy staring at you, grinning like an idiot." I said sarcastically.
Henry flushed furiously. "I was not grinning like an idiot!"
I raised an eyebrow. "Then you admit to staring at her?"
"I didn't do that either! Elli needs to be treated with respect, and that does not mean staring at her and grinning like an idiot, which you wrongly accused me of doing!"
"I'm the same rank as Elli, and you never treat me with respect!"
"Well, you don't deserve it."
Elli stepped in. "Look, I know both of you were separated for most of your lives, but can you catch up on the sibling quarrels later? We have a job to do."
"Sir, yes, sir!" I mock-saluted Elli.
"Okay then, Lexi, did you receive a small portrait of yourself? Can you give it to me?"
"Sir, yes, sir!" I reached into my pocket and tossed it at her.
"Lexi, just stop."
"Sir,yes-" Elli shot a glare at me. "Ugh, fine."
Elli reached into her pocket and pulled out five more portraits of different people. Looking closer, I saw that they were portraits of the other Chosen, including Elli.
"Do you know about the Jewel's Safeguard yet?" Elli asked, looking towards me.
I scratched the back of my head sheepishly. "Um, no?"
Elli took a deep breath. "The jewels were made so that anyone could use them, in case something happened to the Chosen. However, if a jewel falls into the hands of someone with a hint of dark magic, it activates the Jewel's Safeguard, which immediately transports the jewel to a safe Verse. The portraits, when put together in a certain way, create a chain of portals that lead to the Verses that have the jewels. Luckily, I managed to make a few stop-overs to the other countries and collect these. Any questions?"
I raised my hand slightly. "What's a Verse?"
Elli facepalmed. "You're in the Mystique, and you still don't know?!"
"Sorry!!!"
"Well, anyway, Verses are the worlds that were created by imagination or dreams but haven't been written down, or made into a movie yet."
"That makes so much sense now, thanks!" I rolled my sleeves up. "Now let's get crackin'!"
A few hours later...
"Ugh, I can't take it anymore!!!" I screamed, clutching at my hair. "My head hurts, I'm starving, and we've been staring at these for ages!!!" I threw one of the portraits down on the pile and stomped off.
A loud click and the sound of gears whirring came from behind me. I whirled around just in time to see the rest of the portraits click together, and transform into something almost unrecognizable.
Elli leaped up and hugged me. "Hooray, we can get on with it now!!!" She bent down to unlatch the seashell jewel and pressed it into a slot. A tell-tale rainbow light burst from the jewel.
Henry looked at me. "Well Lexi, it is your mission..."
I grinned back at him, unashamedly. "Don't worry, I'll get those jewels back no matter what!"

Well, someone's being a hyper scaredy-cat today...
For a moment I froze, locked in a staredown with those clear blue eyes. Then...
"Elli!' I squealed, throwing my arms around her. "You're finally awake! There's so much I have to tell you!"
Ellie untangled her limbs from my grip and blinked a couple of times. "Lexi... I just had the strangest dream ever... " She sat up straighter and looked around "Wait, why are we in the hospital ward?"
I winced "Well, we were sort of hoping you knew... All I know is that you were found in a coma on the ballroom floor. Oh and your jewel was stolen but I have it back now!" I held up the seashell anklet triumphantly.
"Oh, thank you, thank you so much!" Elli grabbed her jewel and hugged it close to her chest.
"Anything for my honorary sister."I waved her off with a smile. "Now," I began "What was that about a strange dream?"
Elli frowned in deep thought. "Well, the other Chosen and I were in this prairie meadow sort of thing and we were having a picnic. Then you came along, and I was introducing you to everyone else, and everything was all fine and dandy." Her brow furrowed. "But then they came."
"Can you tell me about them?" I prompted.
"Um well, they looked like very beautiful, graceful, pale-skinned people. Like the Fey, but a bit off. It's probably because they stopped looking so pretty when they attacked."
"Did they seem kind of like a melting blob dipped in gasoline?"
She shook her head frantically. "They didn't look that ugly. They were more... insane. And I don't mean your brand of oh-my-gosh-I'm-so-hyper-it-seems-like-I'm-insane-but-I'm-not."
"Are you really sure about that? 'Cause I was there too, and they seemed like creepy gasoline blobs half the time."
"Absolutely positively sure. Wait, you were in the dream too? Does that mean-"
"No, it doesn't mean anything." I cut her off."Henry actually created a dream world thingy where he stuck you and the other Chosen."
"Oh, how sweet of him..." Elli trailed off, with a dreamy look on her face.
I rolled my eyes. Elli's crush on Henry is so painfully obvious, it's a miracle no one has realized it yet. Or maybe some people have and they're just keeping quiet about it...
"Elli, please snap out of it." I waved my hand in front of her face.
"Oh, sorry Lexi." She smiled sheepishly. "So, what happened to the other Chosen?"
I winced again. "Well, they're sorta kinda still in a coma, and their jewels are sorta kinda missing. Except for the storm jewel and it's unknown owner." "Oh shoot, we have to get those jewels back! Lexi, can you help me make a portal?"
I shook my head sadly. "Sorry, but no. You saw me give up my jewel, and if I used yours, it might backfire."
"I- I'm sorry Lexi. I should have known-"
"It's okay. Wait, how am I not in a coma yet?"
"Probably because you're part phoenix." Elli explained. "You don't have to be as dependent on your jewel as the other Chosen are."
"Oh, that makes sense... Hey, where are we going, anyways?"
"To Phiriexell, of course."
"Then can I just get there another way?" I scratched the back of my head. "I think I'm getting portal-sick."
"Well, if you want to spread your wings and fly there-"
"Never mind, I'm coming with you." It's hard having wings and being scared of heights.
Elli gestured at the newly-made portal. "Former lady's maids first."
I scowled. "Fine. On one condition. You absolutely have to confess to Henry while we're there."
She sighed. "Okay."
I grinned triumphantly and stepped into the portal. The grin soon disappeared when I heard a faint 'After we get all the jewels back." from Elli
Dang it.

If you see someone in extreme stomach pain... Yeah, that wasn't me
Okay, so maybe it was sorta, kinda, all my fault. Well, don't look at me like that! It was for the good of the land after all. Besides, it's not like I wanted to do it. The whole thing was incredibly icky and disgusting and... Eww, mental image.
Anyway, I had to clear that up before you heard about this.
I slunk around the corner, ninja fashion. The goal was to find Henry- I mean, the general- and knock him out. Then I would raid his room for clues and- If I had enough time- convince him to stop calling himself by that stupid title.
"Hey Lexi, what the heck are you doing?"
I jumped "Uh... 'Ello, Henry! I was just looking for you! I had to give you, um..." I fumbled around for a moment. "This muffin!" I cried, pulling it out of my pocket. "You absolutely have to try it. I think it's Cali's best batch yet!"
He narrowed his eyes at the napkin-wrapped lump. "Are you sure that isn't one of your failed attempts at cooking?"
I nodded my head vigorously. "Positive. Now, eat it!" I shoved it in front of his face.
Henry gingerly took a bite. He closed his eyes in satisfaction "You know, this isn't actually-"
THUNK
Henry crumpled on the ground. I stood over him, holding a burnt baguette, one of my so-called failed attempts at cooking. I smirked.
"Oh, dear brother, you should know that it is always a bad idea to insult a girl's cooking." Then I did one of those dramatic hair tosses and calmly strolled into his room.
A few hours later, Henry's room had been torn to pieces, my air of calmness was completely gone, and there wasn't a magical jewel in sight. I slumped to the floor, totally defeated.
At this rate, Elli and the others were never going to wake up. I would never be able to read with her in the library, or stay up 'till midnight giggling over each other's secrets, or experiment with our magic...
I facepalmed. How could I have forgotten that oh so easy answer to my problem?
Sparks whirled around me and the scent of cinnamon filled the air, as I called on my magic. All I had to do now was concentrate on Elli, and- there! A blue light flashed in the corner of my eye. I spun around, just in time to see Henry moan and roll over...
And the blue light coming from inside his stomach.
I facepalmed yet again. This was going to take a lot of disgusting work.
Yeah, for the sake of everybody else's state of mind, I'm censoring this part out. All you need to know is that I may or may not have shoved something down his throat, that may or may not have made him throw up. Rest assured, though. No permanent harm was done. Okay, back to the story.
As I picked up the seashell jewel, I conveniently forgot what happens when you overload something with magic. And so, I didn't notice the portal until it was too late.
"Nooooooo...."
The portal unceremoniously dumped me on the floor. I groaned and rubbed my back.
"Geez, couldn't those stupid portals give me a... better...landing..." My voice trailed off as I stared into a pair of bright blue eyes.
Oh my gosh, I haven't posted in like, a month! That's too long!!! *starts sobbing* But anyway, did you notice all those beautiful colors. I finally found the text color button :D

Finally, a chance to beat up some bad guys!!!!
Left you at a bit of a cliffhanger, didn't I? Now I get why writers like to torture their readers with those *cackles evilly then chokes and starts coughing* Oh, from now on, all my commentary stuff will be after the story 'kay? Now let's get on with it!!!
I whirled around to face the... thing that put it's claw/hand/something-with-five-finger-like-things on my shoulder. And what met my eyes was, for lack of a better term, THE CREEPIEST CREEPER I EVER SAW IN MY LIFE!!!!!! It's kinda hard to describe but it was beautiful and ugly at the same time. That doesn't make sense, does it? Well, it was shifting between the two appearences and, oh great there were more.
Elara and I immedietly sprung into action, and soon the rest of the Chosen followed. I mean, what else are you going to do if monsters randomly come and take over your picnic. Scream?
Unfortunately, the Chosen are not blessed with epic ninja skills. And while Elara, being a Flower Fairy Ninja, actually has epic ninja skills, she's only like, five inches tall. It's really really hard to do a lot of damage when you're five inches tall.
Basically we were doomed.
I heard a strangled noise behind me and spun around. One of the things got Elli! It was squeezing her neck and her face was already starting to turn purple. Crashing the picnic wasn't cool, but this? Like a billion times worse.
I took a deep breath to calm myself before I got too angry and something burst into- I wrinkled my nose. The air smelled like... Cinnamon? I looked down. Oops, too late.
The grass around me was already in flames.
An evil smile was on my face. Well, if life gives you fire... Blow something up.
I raised my hands, and the flames got higher. Then I pushed them forward. The fire spread rapidly towards the monster that had Elli. The thing stopped choking Elli, and tugged her in front of it. Immediately, I stopped. But not before some of the other monsters blew up. Now that I think about it... It did kinda seem like they were dipped in gasoline...
Creeper dude (Yes, I'm going to start calling the one with Elli, Creeper dude. It's tiring to keep calling it, the monster who has Elli, or something like that.) curled it's fingers around Elli's neck, but it didn't squeeze.
"It appears we're at a stalemate." I said.
It replied calmly "No, not really. I could care less about my own life, but you obviously care about hers." It geastured at Elli. "So let's make a deal. I'll let the girl go, if you give me your jewel."
For a moment, I was shocked. I didn't think something that looked like a blob dipped in gasoline half the time to have a voice like that. It was kinda like chocolate, all rich and smooth.
But then what it said got to me. So either Elli or the jewel... I unhooked the jewel and threw it at Creeper dude.
Wouldn't you do that if it was your sister?
It threw Elli to the side, and it's fingers had barely touched the jewel, when I blacked out.
*~*~*~*~*~*
I woke up in my bed ( I was transferred to my bedroom after the first portal incident) panting, my mind racing. The first thing I did was rummage through my stuff. And guess what? The jewel was GONE.
I tried to fall asleep again, but every time I closed my eyes I would see Elli choking to death, and unanswered questions kept drifting through my mind. Finally, I gave up and ran downstairs to get some answers for once.
* Hello, Elara here! Lexi has recently become obsessed with a game called Duck Life 4, and I have taken the opportunity to hack into her blog! Personally, I think the ducks look creepy. But anyway I found something interesting, and I just thought you all might want to see it. So go to http://wattpad.com/Sing2TheStars

Revelations are... revealed!!!
*singing*-AND A SONG IS A STEPPIN' STONE/ KINDA LIKE THE WAY YOU FEEL WHEN YOU LET STARS SING YOU HOOOOOOOOOOOOME- Whaaat? It's on? Oh um, pretend you didn't see that last part, kay? Anyway more to tell...
As soon as I fell asleep, I felt the waterslide-like feeling only portals gave. More portals!!! If this kept up, I might start throwing up rainbow glitter! Trust me,that would not be pretty.
It transported me back in the same world I was before. Did you really expect me to go somewhere else? This time I managed to land gracefully instead of falling in a heap. Well, at least I was getting better at portals...
I felt a slight pressure on my shoulder, and I whipped my head around.
"Oh, hi Elara." I was used to her appearing randomly. "Do you have any reason for being here? And no, you are not allowed to say you came here 'cause you're bored."
The impish little fairy sighed "Oh well, caught again. But it wasn't my fault that the Flower Fairy Ninjas didn't have any missions for me. Honestly, you don't even know just how boring it can get over there!" She launched herself into the air, and started hovering in front of me.
"Unfortunately, I'm on a serious mission for once. I have absolutely no time to play with you."
"That's not the only reason I came here, you know. The other one was the glitter fairy comment. I mean, did you really think you were gonna get away with that? Besides," she said looking me over. "It's a major improvement."
I looked down and groaned, well at least I pretended to. I was wearing the same dress as before!
"What was wrong with what I was wearing before?!?! Wait, how did you find out about that comment? I know for a fact the FFN can't get on my blog!"
She just smirked. "Well I planted a magical bug on your jewel."
I felt a flare of heat at my wrist when she said the word jewel. I didn't have to look down to know thatI was wearing it. Usually, I'd be really ticked off at the person that got it on me, but I felt I might need it later...
"Oh, look they're here!" I squealed, waving wildly at the people at the crest of the hill. "Come on, let's go see them!"
"Ok, already!" Elara yelled as I tried to grab her. "I'm coming. Just be careful with those wings!!!"
I wrinkled my nose when we came to the top. That smell... It was reeeeeeaaaaaally disgusting, and yet oddly familiar all at the same time. I couldn't place it though. And I was pretty sure that I'd remember the place I smelled that.
Elli waved her hand in front of my face. "Hellooo, anyone in there?"
I laughed. "Don't you know that line is so overused?"
"And yet it never ever gets old, like the millions of other overused lines you keep helpfully pointing out to me."
I snorted. "I'm glad you're so grateful for my help. Now, are you going to introduce me to the other Chosen or what?"
"Well why don't we start now?"
After a lot of introductions (and chocolate *grins*) I found myself sitting down with Elli at the edge of the group.
"So... What do you do here?" I asked
Her face lit up at the memories. "We have picnics, and dances, and parties," Elli flaid down on the grass, giggling." Fun stuff."
I frowned. This all seemed connected somhow. Suddenly,it all came flooding back to me. The night of Elli's birthday ball. That icky smell was in the air, too. And when I found Elli she was laying on the floor, just like she was doing now. I stared at her, horrorstruck
Until I felt a cold hand clamp down on my shoulder.

Never mind, that last one was test prep. THIS is the real test
The hypocrite strikes again! But really, I am weird this way. Have story, will continue.
The door swung open revealing... a pink panda party! Just kidding. I'd be so much more happier if that happened.
It swung open revealing... a portal! In all it's rainbowy awesomeness of course.
I gasped."Woah, cool! Where does it lead t-" The general cut me off and pushed me in. Before the office disappeared from my view, I saw the desperation on his face.
My happy ending instincts kicked in. What was that about? I grinned evilly. Maybe a happy ending wasn't so hard after all. Then I closed my eyes and let the sparkles take me away...
I hate to interrupt (Not really. Quit talking- You mean typing. Just stop!!!) *sigh* There are some things I'll never get and one of them is Rila. Anyway, time for a crash course on portals!
Every single world has magic, but it tends to show in different ways. We kinda travel place to place using that world-magic. To open one, you have to give a certain spot an overload of magic. That's the easy part. The tricky part is getting where you want to go.
If a path hasn't been mapped out for a portal, it'll usually drop you on the star road that connects all worlds. It's nice and all, but you tend to get lost after a while. The Realm Travelers have a different way to do it, 'cause they deal mostly with the book-worlds a.k.a. Realms. We deal with the imaginary/ dream ones. Anyway do you catch my drift?(wood. Sorry I couldn't resist!) Back to the story!
I was dropped off literally, on a meadow with tall, green grass. Laughter came from afar. Everything was practically screaming at me to go investigate. I stood and brushed the portal dust a.k.a. GLITTER, off. Unfortunately, I still looked like a sparkle fairy (No, I didn't mean that in a bad way Elara!) Wait... Something was wrong with that picture. I looked down. I was wearing a dress! How did I end up in one?!?! Did the general know about my weakness for pretty dresses?!?!
Someone was running towards me. "Lexi!"
"Elli?" I asked, astonished "But what are you doing here? Where are we? Why-"
"Before I answer those, you have to see this!" And with that she grabbed my hand and pulled me away.
Soon we came across a... picnic? Everyone there was talking and giggling. They looked well, happy. I recognized some faces, and I frowned trying to place them. All of a sudden it hit me, these people were the Chosen!
"Elli, Elli," I tugged on her sleeve urgently. "How did you get here?"
"Um, I think I was..." Elli thought for a moment. "You know what, I really don't remember."
I just gaped at her in horror as everything started to fade away.
A couple blackouts, rainbows, and fuzzy side effects later...
Back in the office, the general gave me an explanation. Apparently, he created another world when the jewels were stolen. Then, before the Chosen drifted off forever he somehow managed to get them in the world he created.
"So, you're one of the world-maker people thingys!!!"
"Um, yeah that's right." He looked embarrassed.
"But that's awesome! Why didn't you tell me?!?!"
He shrugged. "Can we get on another subject now?"
"Ok then, who do you have a crush on?"
"Whaaaat?"
"Who do you have a crush on?' I smiled. It was just like old times.
"No one! Why did you ask?"
"So I could read your mind and figure out. You have a crush on Elli, don't you" And for the record, the general's about the same age as me.
Anyway the general's not a suspect anymore. Which brings us back to square one. I'm starting to think I need some outside help on this *coughrealmtravelerscough*. Also I got a portal call from the rest of the gang. They said they had to go back to the missions they were on. Oh I forgot to mention, the reason the posts are like this now is 'cause when I was in the GDK HQ, I found one of those headset things you can talk through and it will type what you said on the computer. I linked it to the blog, used a bit of magic and volia, instant blogger! Always random, ever changing,
Lexi
P.S. Now I realize that tests have nothing to do with this!!! Oh well, too bad
