I should seriously stop messing with the 'parts'. Even I'm confused and I'm the one writing these things!
No sign of anyone... I'm probably just being paranoid. So,back to the blogging.
The office door swung open and a man's voice boomed out.
"Come in, come in."
We were pushed, shoved, and tripped a few times too, thanks to the guards. They also somehow managed to get us in, despite our attempts to get free.
"So," he continued. "What can I do for you?"
At that point I just snapped. He was acting so... careless about this, when there was no way he could!
"What you can do, General Khoffva" I tried to spit it out with as much venom as I could.""Is explain to me why you were taking the jewels and putting all the Chosen in comas. And don't think I don't know you did this." I added seeing his suprised look. "Honestly, you couldn't have been more obvious about it. I heard you talking about it with your scond in command, on one of our nighttime raids."
"Princess, surely you must be joking. I would never do such a thing, and the fact that you think so hurts my feelings."
"You know what really hurts, the fact that I picked you to be regent 'cause I thought you cared about this kingdom and wanted to protect it. Clearly I was wrong 'cause you've just esured a full-blown war when the rest of the Chosen wake up."
"If the Chosen wake up,you mean."
"Actually that makes it worse. 'Cause you know what else a regent's supposed to do? Protect the ruler's family. Princess Elliandra is like a sister to me. No, she is a sister. She is the first person I've ever actually called family. And what do you do? You just had to stick her in a coma that she may never wake up from. So, you'e fired."
The general sighed. "I was worried you'd say something like that. Guards!" No one came. "Guards!!!"
A bunch of guards shuffled in "Sorry boss, we still had the ear plugs in."
My eyes widened. The ear plugs would have blocked out our singing. There were a lot less guards on the past few festival days. Which means, they were expecting us to come today.
"Just go put these people in the dungeon. They're saying she's the princess, when we all know the princess died in the war!" He yelled, pointing at me.
The guards immedietly dragged us away. Furious, I retorted "Didn't your mama ever tell you to fear the phoenix?!"
"They'e hard to fear, when I have one right in the palm of my hand."
And with that the door closed and we were led to our cells. This was exactly the reason why I never wanted to reveal my true identity. But I can't really blame anyone but myself.
What is going on?!?! I keep hearing these annoying footsteps and whispers. It could just be that I'm going insane from the cell. I'll have to try to get out of here as soon as possible then. Off I go to blow up the lock with my magic,
Lexi
